What's new?

I am so mad at myself. Since I moved to my new place I haven't been able to find my camera. Now that I found it, I can't find the cord to the battery charger. I have so many things to show you.

I found this new (to me) indie clothing store called Sway Chic. They have the perfect clothing for any gal. Their clothing is comfortable, cute, and affordable. I treated myself to two dresses on my birthday last Friday. On Saturday I took my classy friend Najia there and she just fell in love with the store. She found everything she was looking for. Their clothing is everything a stylish gal could want. Najia likes to be covered up but still trendy, and she found great shirts and accessories there. I have to say that their accessories are one of a kind. If you see a unique piece, grab it! You never know if it will be there again. I love, love, love this store.

What's the Hold Up?

I haven't been in an environment where I could just be myself. I had writer's block, artist's block, and any other kind of block you can name. I just could not be my true self. Now that I made some changes, I can move forward. This experience has been like learning to ride a bike all over again. I can't move forward until I revisit what made me passionate about art and writing in the first place. I haven't started making clothes, jewelry, and henna tattoos like I used to because I have to take care of my bills. Once I have a plan, people will see my work. Everyday I work towards my goals of doing more art projects and it's a nice feeling to know that I'm so close to breaking through my barriers. More of my artsy side coming soon.
